Peter Rektor & Robyn Trelore. The founders of Designfocus Resource
Designfocus Resource Pty Ltd was formed in 1991 and has completed many successful projects - locally, nationally and internationally. Their practical, problem solving skills combined with a methodical and highly creative approach to design, is one of their main attributes.
Selected milestone projects, include the following:
The retail levels of Australia Square and the MLC Centre in Sydney. The first upgrades for these precincts, since their completion by Harry Seidler.
The new “corporate look” showrooms for Porsche, Ferrari and Maserati in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth, commissioned by Porsche Cars Australia and the Ateco Automotive Group, for their respective marques, more than achieved the required high performance goals.
Creation of the retail identity for Paspaley which established the Paspaley Pearls Flagship Store in Sydney and the Boutiques in Sydney, Melbourne, Darwin, Hong Kong, Dubai and Abu Dhabi.
Canon Australia Head Office in Sydney and regional offices in Melbourne and Adelaide.
King Living showrooms in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Gold Coast and Perth.
For the past decade or so, Designfocus Resource has concentrated on refining its knowledge and skills in the discipline of retail design and especially the current e-commerce directions and how they must be interwoven with “bricks-and-mortar” stores, in order for the retailer to not only survive, but to thrive in the current environment.
The new group harnesses the combined resources, knowledge and expertise from their individual standings, to give national and international clients the advantage and results, that these trusted resources deliver.
